Christmas Forever Stamps

Christmas stamps are postage designs, not a separate postal rate. Choose the correct postage category first, then select religious, secular holiday, or winter artwork that fits the card.

Christmas, Holiday, and Winter Are Not Identical

GroupTypical subjectsBest use
ChristmasNativity, carols, trees, wreaths, or familiar Christmas storiesMail explicitly celebrating Christmas
General holidayFestive lettering, ornaments, gifts, or inclusive seasonal artMixed recipient lists
WinterSnow, wildlife, landscapes, or evergreen scenesSeasonal mail without a named holiday

Postage Comes Before Artwork

A valid ordinary Forever stamp covers the current one-ounce domestic stamped-letter price only when the completed card qualifies. Photos, thick paper, ribbons, square envelopes, and rigid inserts can add weight or make a piece nonmachinable. Assemble and measure one sample before buying for the entire list.

Record the official issue name and year, individual stamp count, books or sheets included, postal category, current price, inventory, and final order cost. A "Holiday" tag alone is not proof that a design is a USPS Christmas issue.
